I am a designer and developer working between Qatar and the U.S.A. Most of my work sits where brand and product meet: the identity, the website, and the interface a customer actually touches.
Before going independent I spent years inside product teams, which is where I learned that a design is only as good as the decisions behind it. I would rather ask one uncomfortable question early than repaint a homepage three times.
I work in small, direct engagements. You talk to the person doing the work, revisions happen in days rather than weeks, and everything I build is handed over in a form you can maintain yourself.
Outside of client work I write about the craft in the journal, and I am usually rebuilding something that already worked, which my wife finds less charming than I do.
